Craig C. Wagstaff is president of Gas Distribution, Gas Infrastructure Group.
He oversees all state-regulated businesses in the company’s Gas Infrastructure Group: Dominion Energy Ohio and Dominion Energy West Virginia in the east, and Dominion Energy Idaho, Dominion Energy Utah, Dominion Energy Wyoming, and Dominion Energy Wexpro in the west.
Wagstaff joined Questar in 1984 and has held various leadership positions throughout his career. Prior to his current position, he was president of Questar Gas and executive vice president of Questar Corp. Earlier responsibilities included overseeing the utility’s customer service functions, regional distribution operations, public and community relations, economic development and marketing. He became president–Western Gas Operations upon the merger of Questar with Dominion in September 2016, and assumed his current post in August 2017.
He serves on the boards of directors of the Western Energy Institute, Envision Utah, and Junior Achievement of Utah, of which he is chair; the leadership council of the American Gas Association; the advisory boards of the Women’s Leadership Institute and the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business; the boards of trustees of EDCUtah and the Utah Symphony & Opera, and the board of governors of the Salt Lake Chamber.
Wagstaff attended Weber State University and the University of Utah, receiving undergraduate degrees in business and marketing, and holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and business management from Gonzaga University. He also completed Southern Methodist University Business School’s Energy Leadership Program.
